The Best Claude SEO Tools in 2026, Tested

Otterly.AI is the cheapest published way to track whether Claude cites you: $29 a month for the Lite plan plus a $29 Claude add-on, so $58 a month for 15 prompts. Profound puts Claude in its Enterprise extended coverage only, Scrunch lists Claude among monitored platforms at $250 a month and up, and Ahrefs Brand Radar does not cover Claude at all. Every tool here treats Claude as an add-on or an enterprise line item, so check coverage before you buy on the headline price.

The shortlist

  • Otterly.AI Lite is $29 a month and its Claude add-on is another $29, the lowest published all in price for Claude tracking.
  • Profound publishes $99 and $399 tiers, but Anthropic Claude appears only in its Enterprise extended coverage.
  • Scrunch starts at $250 a month billed annually and lists Claude among its monitored platforms, though plan level coverage is not spelled out.
  • LLM Pulse starts at 49 euro a month for 50 weekly prompts and sells Claude as an add-on with no published price.
  • Ahrefs Brand Radar costs 318 or 560 pounds a month and does not list Claude among its covered platforms.
  • The free consultance.ai SEO and GEO Claude skill audits your own site, it does not monitor whether Claude cites you.

The cheapest published way to track whether Claude cites your brand is Otterly.AI, at $29 a month for the Lite plan plus a $29 a month Claude add-on, which comes to $58 a month for 15 tracked prompts. Every other tool with a public price either puts Claude behind a custom enterprise plan, sells it as an add-on with no published price, or does not name Claude in its coverage list at all.

That is worth stating plainly, because most roundups of AI visibility software treat Claude as interchangeable with ChatGPT. The pricing pages say otherwise. Claude is the assistant these platforms most often charge extra for or leave out, so a tool that looks affordable can cover everything except the model you came for. Every price and coverage claim below was read off the vendor's own pages on 13 August 2026, and where a third party disagrees with the vendor, that disagreement is flagged rather than smoothed over.

What a Claude SEO checking tool actually measures

These products do not have access to Claude's ranking system, because there is no ranking system to query. What they do is maintain a list of prompts you care about, run those prompts against the assistants on a schedule, and record what came back. The metrics that fall out are mention rate, whether your domain was cited as a source, where you appeared relative to competitors, and the sentiment of the sentence you appeared in.

Two consequences follow, and they matter more than any feature list. First, the answers are sampled rather than measured, so the same prompt run twice can produce different results, and your reported visibility carries real variance. Second, the numbers are only as good as your prompt set. Change the prompts and you change the score, which means these tools are useful as a trend line on a fixed prompt list and misleading as an absolute figure you report upward.

Several of the platforms also sell a second, more defensible data source: server side logging of AI crawler and agent traffic hitting your site. That is a direct measurement rather than a sample, and it is the part of the category most worth paying for.

The tools, checked against their own pricing pages

Otterly.AI

Otterly publishes the most legible pricing in the category. Lite is $29 a month for 15 search prompts, Standard is $189 a month for 100 prompts, Premium is $489 a month for 400 prompts, and Enterprise is custom starting at $1,000 a month. Annual billing takes 15 percent off, bringing the three published tiers to $25, $160 and $422 a month. All plans include unlimited team members and daily tracking.

The base engine list is ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Claude is not in it. Claude is an add-on priced at $29 on Lite, $109 on Standard and $439 on Premium, and Google AI Mode plus Gemini is a separate add-on at $9, $59 and $149. Standard and above add API access, MCP access and agent analytics. An independent roundup published by LLM Pulse in May 2026 and updated on 10 August 2026 describes Otterly the same way, listing Claude as a paid add-on across a $29 to $489 plan range.

So the honest headline number for Claude tracking on Otterly is $58 a month at the entry tier, and $298 a month if you need 100 prompts. That is still the lowest published all in figure of any tool here.

Profound

Profound publishes Starter at $99 a month and Growth at $399 a month, both billed yearly with two months free, plus a custom Enterprise tier. Starter includes one seat, Growth includes three. The product runs daily structured prompts and reports citations, sentiment, ranking and competitive presence, and it bundles agent analytics, prompt volume data and exports.

The coverage split is the thing to notice. Standard tracking on Starter and Growth is ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Anthropic's Claude appears only in the extended coverage listed under Enterprise, alongside Gemini, Copilot, Grok and DeepSeek. The LLM Pulse roundup reaches the same conclusion, placing Claude on Profound's custom plan. If Claude is your requirement, Profound's published prices do not buy it and you are in a sales conversation.

Scrunch AI

Scrunch, whose old scrunchai.com domain now redirects to scrunch.com, lists Starter at $250 a month billed annually or $300 monthly, Growth at $417 annually or $500 monthly, and a custom Enterprise tier. Starter includes 3 user licences, 350 custom prompts, 1,000 industry prompts, 3 personas and 5 page audits. Growth doubles most of that to 5 licences, 700 custom prompts, 2,500 industry prompts, 5 personas and 10 page audits. Extra seats are $25 a month each. Prompt manager, citation tracking, page audits, key topic monitoring and agent traffic monitoring are on every plan.

Scrunch's platform list names ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, and Meta, without attaching Claude to a specific tier. The LLM Pulse roundup claims Claude on Scrunch is Enterprise only. Those two sources conflict and I could not resolve it from public pages, so treat Claude coverage on a $250 Starter plan as unconfirmed and get it in writing before you sign.

LLM Pulse

LLM Pulse publishes six tiers: Starter at 49 euro a month for 50 weekly prompts, Growth at 99 euro for 150, Scale at 299 euro for 450, Scale+ at 599 euro for 1,200, Scale++ at 1,199 euro for 2,400, and custom Enterprise. The five models included in the base plans are ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews and Gemini. Claude appears as a Claude add-on across the tiers, and the add-on price is not published on the pricing page.

One caveat on sourcing. The widely circulated comparison of Claude tracking tools that ranks LLM Pulse first is published by LLM Pulse. It is useful as a cross check on other vendors' terms and it matched the vendor pages where I could test it, but it is vendor material, not a review.

Peec AI

Peec is the tool I can say the least about, and that is the finding. Its pricing page lists four tiers named Starter, Pro, Advanced and Enterprise with no dollar amounts rendered on the page I fetched, and the engine list on that page is ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini. The homepage lists ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini and describes visibility, position and sentiment metrics. Claude is not named on either page.

An independent August 2026 comparison from Surmado states that Peec's monitoring spans ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and separately warns that third party trackers now disagree with each other on Peec's entry price and that any figure should be checked with the vendor. That is a direct conflict with Peec's own pages on Claude. If Peec is on your shortlist for Claude specifically, ask them to confirm coverage and price in writing.

Ahrefs Brand Radar

Brand Radar tracks brand visibility across AI answers plus YouTube and Reddit. Ahrefs publishes two tiers: Select Platforms at 318 pounds a month, with access to 468 million or more organic prompts and 2,500 custom prompt checks a month, and All Platforms at 560 pounds a month, which adds the full platform set and a free beta of YouTube, TikTok and Reddit tracking. Custom prompts are also sold as a separate add-on.

The covered platforms are AI Overviews and AI Mode, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, Perplexity and Grok. Claude is not on that list. The Surmado comparison quotes a different entry figure of $199 a month for a single platform index and calls the feature set shallow next to dedicated platforms. Where the two disagree on price, use the vendor page. Either way, Brand Radar is a reasonable buy for teams already inside Ahrefs and the wrong buy if the question is specifically about Claude.

Doing the check yourself

Nothing about this measurement is technically hard. You keep a fixed list of the prompts a buyer would actually type, run them against Claude on a schedule, and record three things per run: whether your brand was named, whether your domain was cited as a source, and the raw response text as evidence. Store the runs, plot the mention rate, and you have the same trend line the paid tools sell, minus the dashboards, the competitor sets and the crawler log analysis.

The cost of doing it yourself is not the software, it is the discipline of running the same prompts on the same cadence and not quietly editing the prompt list when the number goes down. That is exactly the failure mode a paid seat protects you from, and it is a fair reason to buy one.

We publish a free SEO and GEO Claude skill in the build library. It is open source on GitHub, installs in about three minutes by pasting a setup instruction into a free Claude account, and runs a full SEO and AI search visibility audit from one command in roughly four minutes, with ten ready to run prompts covering technical audits, keyword gap analysis, competitor backlinks, PDF reports, content briefs, on page optimisation, SERP tracking, schema markup, local citations and a daily briefing. Some checks use a DataForSEO API key, which has free trial credits.

Be clear about what it is: that skill audits your own site. It does not monitor whether Claude cites you. For citation monitoring you either buy one of the seats above or script your own scheduled prompt runs and keep the log. Anyone telling you a free audit skill replaces a visibility tracker is describing two different jobs.

How to choose

If the only question is whether Claude names you across a small prompt set, Otterly at $58 a month is the answer, and you should treat it as a monitoring line item rather than a strategy. If you need Claude at scale with SSO, audit trails and a named success manager, the real candidates are Profound and Scrunch, and in both cases you should require written confirmation of which plan includes Claude before signing, because their published pages and the third party write ups do not agree. If Claude turns out not to be a hard requirement once you look at your own traffic, most of these tools get considerably cheaper.

The wider point for finance teams: buying a visibility seat tells you whether an assistant mentions you, and that is all it does. It will not change what the assistant finds when it arrives. That is a content and data problem, and it is the same problem as every other AI workflow question sitting on your list.

Which is where we come in, said once and then dropped. consultance.ai builds custom finance AI rather than selling seats, the first system is normally live in about six weeks, and the client owns the code outright. That is a genuinely different economic proposition to renting a dashboard, and it is the one we would put next to any of the tools above. If that is the shape of what you need, see how it applies to AI for private equity and to AI deal desk systems, or book a call.
